Things to consider when applying to adopt Prince:

• 1 year old
• Shih Tzu
• needs to learn potty manners
• needs to learn leash walking
• he is a RUNNER and a fenced yard is required for his adoption
• he will require basic manners/basic obedience class completion before the adoption is final

Prince is new in rescue. He was a stray at the Norfolk Animal Care and Adoption Center. He was brought into the shelter after being found running the streets.  Upon arriving at the shelter he darted out of the truck because he is so malnourished and thin, he squeezed through the bars of his crate and escaped. We feel sure he did the same at his home and then became lost but we have no proof. But, we do know he is a young Shih Tzu, around 1 year. He will require a fence for adoption due to his history of running. He will definitely need some TLC. A spa day, vet appointment and neuter will be scheduled ASAP!! Then he will be ready for his furever home.
