Blossom is new to rescue. She is a petite Poodle, approximately 3 years old and weighs about 12 pounds. Blossom is settling in to her foster home and gets along well with the resident foster siblings. She enjoys their company and will lay with them when napping. Blossom is a very skittish little dog. She comes from a puppy mill and has not been a house pet nor was she socialized properly as a pup. Her only function in life was to make puppies to sell, sadly. But, she remains a sweet little lady who is willing to learn. She follows her foster house mates around. She may like company in her new home.
Blossom is beginning to open up but remains aloof at times. Sudden, loud noises scare her. Her potty manners are good and she is following and learning from her foster siblings. She enjoys being in the yard.
She will do best in a quiet, patient home without very young children. Puppy mill experience a plus.
Blossom will be spayed April 1oth and once healed she will be ready for adoption.
