UPDATE: Matilda aka Tilly as foster mom likes to call her continues to thrive in her foster home. She has mastered the steps, loves snuggles in bed, has great potty manners, is making good progress on leash and follows foster mom everywhere! She is a joy to foster. She will be spayed May 20th. Once healed she will be ready for adoption.
Matilda aka Tilly is new in rescue. She is a 3 year old, 13 pound Miniature Schnauzer. She was surrendered to our rescue from a hoarding situation. She is very intelligent, active and follows foster mom all around. She seems to have good house manners. She rides well in the car (and on airplanes, she was flown in to her foster home by Pilots N Paws) She has seen the vet and will have her spay scheduled asap.
Schnauzers are great watch dogs. They are intelligent, active dogs who enjoy training. They may not be good apartment dogs as they tend to bark. They require regular exercise and mental stimulation. They also require grooming every 4-6 weeks. Read more about the schnauzer HERE
