Meet Maverick! Maverick is a 4 year, cockapoo male. He was surrendered to our rescue because his owner is moving and cannot take him. He is a sweet guy, but definitely a little more nervous than his housemate, Mila. He likes other dogs, has lived with a cat and is just a good boy!
He is being neutered, microchipped and having his vaccines updated today. Once he has a few days to heal, she will be ready to look for his new family.
Maverick has lived with Mila for all of his life (she is a few months older). They are not necessarily bonded but he does allow her to lead and depends on her. If they are not adopted together (and we will determine bonding as we get to know them) then he will need a helper dog friend. They will be in the same foster home for now. They can be adopted together if the opportunity presents itself.
