Paris is an active, playful 8 year old Shih Tzu/Poodle mix. She is currently recovering from dental extractions and is on antibiotics and pain medicines.
Paris will need an active adult home with an owner who likes to walk. This girl lives for walks!
Paris would probably enjoy the company of another dog. She does try to play and sniff at other dogs and her tail wags happily when we encounter other dogs on our walks.
Paris weighs about 12 pounds and is a great eater.
Paris loves to sit on the couch for a good snuggle and enjoys giving the occasional puppy kiss now that her mouth is feeling better. She will sleep where told and sleeps all night.
So far Paris has very good potty manners and alerts you to bathroom needs.
Paris is awaiting her spay and investigation of a small mammary tumor. Please put your application in now for this love bug. She is one sweet little lady.
UPDATE 3/15/22:
Paris is progressing very well from dental surgery. She will finish her antibiotics this week and will continue to eat soft food for one more week. Then she can transition to kibble for small dogs.
Today we went for a walk and met my neighbors greyhound in front of foster moms home. Paris happily greeted him and they walked a mile together running, playing and sniffing the smells of spring!
Paris continues to be a very obedient little girl who loves her people and other dogs. She will make a wonderful addition to any home.
UPDATE 4/5/2022
Paris is healing quickly from her spay and mammary tumor removal. Pathology on the tumors is pending and will be posted once we have the information. She has gained weight and is now a healthy 13.5 pounds. She enjoys walks, snuggles, naps in her cozy bed and playing with other dogs. Paris would do well in a home with an active family. She is a very social dog and enjoys the company of other dogs. I believe she would benefit from another playful pup but it isn't a requirement for her adoption. Paris will need a family who enjoys two 20-30 minute walks per day. She will be a delightful addition to any home. Paris will be available at the end of April. Put in your application now so you can be approved when she is ready to leave rescue. Good luck!

Paris is completely healed and ready for adoption. She is a very sweet, affectionate, happy pup who loves walking and snuggling. She is not fond of cats when we are walking in the neighborhood. She does on the other hand love other dogs; any shape and size as long as they are friendly. She has seamlessly integrated into her foster pack and would like enjoy the company of another dog in her new home. Don't miss out on this awesome little dog.
