UPDATE 8/3/2026: After getting to know sweet “Ari” we have learned she is very anxious. She would benefit from another dog in the home and someone who works from home or is retired and active to give her attention. She would love a fenced yard to enjoy her leisurely sniffari’s and a human to snuggle at night.
Meet Ari! A sweet little one year old Yorkie girl looking for her forever home. Ari is very shy and nervous at the moment. She was in the shelter after being confiscated from a hoarding type situation along with Lenny, Buddy and Ella. She is very clingy and will need someone who is home during the day to help her gain confidence and become an independent pup.
Ari loves snuggling, being with her people and sleeping in bed with foster mom! Being contained causes a lot of stress for her. We are working with her to help her gain confidence.
Ari will need a little time to adjust to her foster home. She is currently awaiting her spay surgery. Once healed she will be ready for adoption.
In the meantime, if you are interested in adoption, apply online. If you are approved, email her foster mom. We do need a little time to figure out her needs so please be patient as we learn her likes and dislikes. She has had a traumatic few days.
As with all dogs under two years of age, adopted from the rescue, a basic manners class is required to finalize her adoption. You will have 6 months to complete training with her.
