Bally comes to us from our friends at the Norfolk Animal Care Center, where he was surrendered by his previous family due to his disabilities. Despite these challenges, Bally has not let them diminish his spirit or zest for life.
Bally is a senior poodle, approximately 11 years old, and weighs around 14 pounds—making him the perfect size for a lap dog. He is living with cataracts and some hearing loss, but these conditions do not prevent him from enjoying life to the fullest. In fact, his foster family has discovered that Bally absolutely loves to swim in their pool, a pastime that brings him great joy and showcases his resilient spirit.
Bally is friendly and gets along well with other dogs in his foster home. He enjoys snuggles and being petted, but is also quite content to slip away for a peaceful nap whenever the mood strikes. Bally is house-trained, has excellent potty manners, and walks well on a leash, making him a delightful companion to foster. He loves swimming and splashing on doggy splash pads. This is one happy guy!
Bally would thrive in a patient home, as he will need some time to adjust to his new surroundings due to his vision and hearing impairments. A fenced yard is recommended so that Bally can safely explore his environment. He is an all-around good boy, and it’s difficult to imagine how anyone could surrender such a precious fellow.
Bally has received a dental cleaning, is up to date on his vaccines, and has been microchipped. He is ready for adoption and eagerly awaits his forever family.
