Beau comes to us from our shelter partner NACC where he was on a stray hold. He came in with a severely broken limb that needs a very expensive surgery.
Beau is a small maltese mix (most likely yorkie/maltese). He is about 5 months old and weighs about 8.5 pounds. He will see the surgeon on Tuesday for an evaluation and surgery.

Beau was evaluated for surgery on Tuesday, July 8th. He stayed overnight at the hospital and had surgery on July 9th. After several hours and attempts to repair the fractured leg with screws and plates, it was determined the fracture was too high and could not be repaired. The best course of action was amputation. Beau had the amputation surgery and is recovering in his foster home.
Beau is currently being house trained and will begin leash training when he is up to it. He is a puppy and will required to complete a manners class to finalize the adoption.
Once Beau heals he will be ready for adoption.
