Bethany is new in rescue. She is a 6 year old, 9 pound Maltese. Bethany is a retired breeder dog from Pennsylvania. She is friendly and sweet. She loves following her foster mom around and gets along well with the other foster dog in the home. She is working on her potty manners and leash walking. As with most breeder dogs, she is not used to walking on a lead or being in a home as a pet. She is learning and wants to please.
Bethany will need to have a dental and be spayed before she can be adopted. Once healed she will be ready to find her new family!

UPDATE: Bethany continues to be skittish but is slowly warming up. She wants attention but still shy away. She is a loving sweet little girl who will do best in a quiet home with a fenced yard. She will need a patient owner who understands puppy mill survivors.
