Carlton is new in rescue. We received a plea from the Leesburg Shelter for help with a puppy who needs more medical attention than they could provide. Of course we took one look at this sweet baby and had to help!
Carlton is about 14 weeks old. He is very tiny at 4 pound. He is happy and playful. We do not know his breed but he is a terrier mix of some sort. Maybe Rat Terrier and Chihuahua but that is just a guess. He has seen multiple vets and will see the internist next week. We are unsure what is causing his slow motility in his digestive tract. . He is having trouble keeping his food down but with special food and a slow feeding process he is eating and gaining small amounts of weight.
