Chaco is a small dog weighing in at seven pounds, full of love and affection. While he may be nervous around other dogs at first, he tends to warm up quickly. Chaco is very curious about cats and has a particular fondness for kittens. He interacts well with children of all ages, making him a wonderful family companion.
One of Chaco’s favorite activities is being carried like a baby, and he eagerly anticipates snuggling in a cozy, warm lap. He enjoys kisses, belly rubs, and having his ears scratched. Chaco is currently working on improving his house manners. Since he was recently neutered, it is expected that he will adapt to these new routines soon.
It is important to note that Chaco does not like being confined in a crate or behind baby gates. When confined, he may bark and whine. He may not be the best fit for an apartment or condo with neighbors close. A fenced yard and multiple walks per day will make him happy! He is highly motivated by treats and is in the process of learning basic commands such as “stay,” “drop it,” and “bed.”
