She loves being wherever her people are, happily following them from room to room before settling into an open lap for cuddles. Whether you're relaxing at home or heading out to run errands, she's thrilled to be your little sidekick and even enjoys riding along in a shoulder bag, soaking up attention from everyone she meets.
She's a sweet, generally quiet companion who gets along well with other small dogs, especially those with calm, easygoing personalities. She prefers friends who are low-key rather than bossy, making her an excellent match for a peaceful household.
This little girl has already proven she's a true fighter. When she arrived in rescue, our first priorities were her medical care, including treatment for a respiratory infection, followed by back-to-back surgeries for her spay and a ruptured knee ligament. Through it all, she has been an absolute champion, recovering with remarkable resilience and a positive attitude. She's now healthy, continuing to heal beautifully, and ready to start the next chapter of her life with a family to call her own.
To help her enjoy many happy years ahead, she'll do best with a lifestyle focused on low-impact activity. Short, consistent walks are perfect for keeping her fit without putting unnecessary stress on her joints, and maintaining a healthy weight will be especially important for protecting her knees. A small to medium size home without a lot of stairs and adults only (or older children) is ideal. In return, you'll have an affectionate, funny, and devoted companion who brings joy wherever she goes.
