Cloe is new in rescue. She comes to us from the Norfolk Animal Care Center as an owner surrender. She is understandably very confused and scared. She was surrendered because her owner passed away and there was no plan for her care.
Cloe is a maltese mix. She is about 4 years old and weighs about 6.5 pounds. She will need to see the vet and the groomer. Then, sweet little Cloe will be ready for adoption. Right now she is very scared and clingy. She has no clue what is happening or why she has been stripped from her home. We will work with her to help her understand she is safe and help her navigate this new life.
Currently Cloe is at a Board and Train facility getting help with her trust issues. She is learning basic commands, loose leash walking and appropriate reactions to touch. Our goal is to start her on a journey to become the sweet little girl she is meant to be! She will not be in her foster home until next week (Aug 18). Please be patient as we allow this little lady to decompress and learn new skills to cope with a big scary world.
