UPDATE 3/1/24: Daisy Mae will have surgery to correct a nasal fistula caused by her severe dental disease on Tuesday, March 5th. Once she is healed she will be ready for adoption.
UPDATE 2/19/24: Daisy Mae is continuing to recover from her dental. She came to us with kennel cough. After her much needed dental she continues to struggle with pneumonia but she is improving. Once recovered she will be ready for adoption.
UPDATE 1/23/24: Daisy will have her dental on Wed. Jan 24th. We pray she is healthy enough and her jaw will withstand the procedure. She has so many rotten teeth with bone deterioration.
Daisy Mae is new is rescue. She arrived today so we do not know much about her. But we do know she is a very small yorkie who was found as a stray. She is believed to be 12 years old according to her microchip. Although she was chipped, her owners could not be found. (PSA - PLEASE REGISTER YOUR MICROCHIPS AND KEEP THE INFO CURRENT) She will see the vet Friday, January 19th for her vetting and to schedule a dental. She has severe dental disease and will most likely need a full mouth extraction. She will be available for adoption after she heals from her surgery.
