Meet Dory, a spirited and courageous little yorkie girl who is just three months old and weighs 4.5 pounds. Despite her petite size, Dory is truly fearless and always eager for adventure. She is ready to tackle every challenge that comes her way, displaying a bold personality that makes her stand out. While she is primarily a yorkie mix, her complete breed lineage and adult weight remain unknown.
Dory (and Nemo) was surrendered by their previous owner due to concerns about their front legs and paws not appearing "right." Fortunately, both puppies were quickly rescued and welcomed into a loving environment. They are exceptionally sweet and deserving of the best care possible. Their short paws do not hinder their happiness or zest for life.
As her name suggests, Dory is daring and always the first to try something new. She loves attention and is not shy about demanding it. Dory is also content to entertain herself with something tasty or a squeaky toy for short stretches. She tends to stay close to her foster parents, so they must be careful not to step on this little bundle of energy.
Dory is diligently working on her potty manners and is learning to wear her collar and a very tiny harness. She will use potty pads and potty outside. Foster mom says there are pros and cons to both but likes to make sure bases are covered with house training a pup!
She will be ready for adoption (with spay addendum) in 3 weeks.
**Formal manners classes/basic training classes will be required to finalize her adoption.
