Helga is a recent addition to our rescue organization, arriving from NACC. She is a young, female terrier mix, estimated to be around 4 years old and weighing approximately 18 pounds. Helga has already been spayed and microchipped, making her almost ready for her forever home. She will require a booster of her distemper vaccine before the adoption process can be completed.
Helga is best suited for an active individual or couple who enjoys walking. She thrives in an environment where she can get plenty of exercise and attention. While she is still learning and needs a bit of reinforcement with her potty manners, she is making quick progress and shows great promise. She is always on a lap or the couch! No dog beds for this princess!
This charming terrier loves both walking and car rides. She handled her recent veterinary exam with ease. Helga’s inquisitive nature is evident in her habit of gazing out windows for extended periods; she even enjoys sitting in the window sill at her foster mom’s house. She is currently living with two senior dogs and is getting along well with them. At night, Helga sleeps soundly and even allows her foster mom to sleep in past 8 AM!
