Irene is new in rescue. She is a 6 year old, 6.5 pound yorkie. She is a retired breeding dog. She is in desperate need of a dental as well as her spay. She will have her dental Monday Dec. 18th thankfully! Her mouth is severely infected and she will lose teeth. After she heals from her dental, she will have her spay surgery. Then she will be ready for her new home.
She is working on her potty manners and leash walking. Breeding dogs are not taught these skills when they are young. It will take time and patience for her to learn but she is definitely up to the task. She is adjusting well to foster care and we expect her to be feeling so much better after her dental on Monday.
