Jude comes to us from the shelter in Manassas, VA. We do not know his true age but he is an adult, maybe 8 years +/- a year. This handsome man is a small mixed breed -probably a spaniel mix, with something like shih tzu or other short legged long torso pup. Your guess is as good as ours.

We do know Jude is a sweet little gentleman after he meets you. He is still a little scared but didn't hesitate to make himself at home with his foster. He loves foster dad as well as foster mom and was easy to win over...the way to his heart is through his stomach. :-) He likes chicken a lot! He will approach you for attention as well. Jude is respectful of the two resident dogs in his foster home.

Jude has seen the vet for vaccines and will be neutered next week. (week of July 9th) Once healed he will be ready for adoption.

Update 7/1/2025 - Foster mom says...

Jude is settling into his foster home. He sleeps through the night, is a good eater and has good potty manners so far. He has a bit of a stubborn streak and does not like being forced to do something. But otherwise, he is a happy go lucky little guy.

He is not a cuddle bug or a couch potato. He usually just lays at forster moms feet when she is sitting is on the sofa.

He does shed and the hot weather is not helping. He will require some brushing and coat maintenance.

Jude would be best served in a calm home with no small children. Fast movements around his head scare him. He would be happy as an only or with a companion. He is pretty easy going after he meets you.
