Things to consider when applying to adopt Lola Bee:

• estimated to be 2.5 - 3 year old red, Long haired, Dachshund (per previous owner)
• needs help with potty manners
• okay on leash but could use some training
• will need time to adjust, her family was re-stationed and could not take her
• she will need plenty of "brain games" and interaction
• basic manners training highly encouraged

• typically not great with children, families with young children discouraged
• fenced yard a plus, she loves sniffing and running in the grass
• she has lived with her housemate, Hercules but we are not sure if they are bonded (we will decide after we get to know them)
• she is young and very energetic but more reserve at first than Hercules
• she will need someone to work with her to complete her house training

Lola Bee is new in rescue. It will take time for us to get to know her but so far she is friendly (after the initial shock of not having her people) and playful. She is a little underweight so she is receiving several small meals a day until we can get to the vet for an initial check up. She has lived with Hercules (also available for adoption)  but we are not sure if they are bonded. We will be able to determine that as we get to know her/them better in their foster home. Currently she is in a temporary foster home until their foster returns from vacation on Monday, July 8th.

She will need help with potty manners and leash walking. 

Lola Bee will need to see the vet then be spayed. Once healed from surgery she will be ready for adoption.
