UPDATE 4/25/2026: Lucy is doing very well. She is healing nicely from her and continuing to learn how to "dog". Puppy mill survivors have to learn to how to be loved and treated as "pets". They typically catch on quickly but it does take time. Patience is key. Lucy is a very sweet little lady. She is looking for a calm, patient home with structure. Predictability is key.
Lucy is new in rescue. She is an 8 year old, 10 pound miniature poodle. She comes to us from a Pennsylvania puppy mill. Lucy is very sweet. Her tail wags constantly and she has recently begun to give kisses to her foster mom.
Lucy will need a dental and spay. Once healed she will be ready for adoption.
