MEDICAL UPDATE: Nikki's broken femur healed very nicely and she DOES NOT need surgery! We are so happy for her. She will have her spay scheduled soon and, once healed, she will be ready for adoption!! We are so happy to report she is doing well and ready for adoption.
Nikki is new in rescue. She is roughly 10 months old and weighs 9 pounds. She is very friendly. She is working on her potty manners but does alert her foster mom by going to the door to say she needs to potty!
Nikki does have a limp and we are investigating the cause and possible treatments for her issues. Beyond the physical limp, she is perfect in every way! She is a very happy, wiggly, 10 month old puppy who enjoys squeaky toys, stuffies, cuddles, walks and treats! She was very well behaved when foster mom took her to dinner at a dog friendly restaurant.
We will post more about her on social media as she reveals more of her personality. One thing is for sure, she is not going to be here long. She is a doll!
