Pumpkin is not available for adoption for medical reasons.
Pumpkin is now the second member of Corra's Crew , our rescue's retirement program for dogs who are not able to be adopted through no fault of their own. Pumpkin has severe kidney disease and needs specialized care. She will be cared for by her foster mom and her bills will be covered by Compact Canine Rescue for the remainder of her life. Your donations can help. Click the link to Corra's Crew to see how you can help. We thank you in advance for your support! Without you dogs like Pumpkin wouldn't have a chance.
UPDATE: 9/19/22: Pumpkin has been moved to medical hold until we see the vet. She needs to put on weight, have blood work completed and be assessed for a dental cleaning given how small she is this will take time.
9/17/22 Pumpkin is a very chill little Yorkie. She is new in rescue and we do not have a complete medical or behavioral history for her. We think she is about 10+ years old and weighs 5.3 pounds. She is a very picky eater. She is underweight and has severe dental disease. She will see the vet Friday (9/23/22) to determine her state of health and her treatment plan. She will spend a little while in rescue before she is ready for adoption. Once we know more about her we will posts updates on our social media channels. Please follow us for updates on all our foster dogs, upcoming events, and to learn how you can get involved with Compact Canine Rescue.
