Things to think about when applying to adopt Sprout:

• age is estimated to be 7, she is an adult dog
• will need monthly grooming, right now she is very matted and will need a shave down
• she has multiple injuries indicative of trauma such as a car accident
• she is currently on medical hold but we are accepting applications for her
• we will post more updates after we make a treatment plan

Hi my name is Sprout! I was found as a stray in Maryland and found my way to BARCS! They took care of me, gave me vaccines and fed me! I was starving! They also noticed my leg was lame. They took x-rays and could see I have some pelvic fractures. 

I am going to the orthopedic vet today (August 18) to figure all that out. I was a little scared in the shelter and a bit snappy because I was scared and in pain. They were giving me pain medications so that helped but I still don’t understand. But, now that I am in my foster home where is  quiet and more familiar to me, I am wagging my tail and wanting attention from my foster mom!
