UPDATE 8/3/22
Stan had his neuter surgery successfully on August 1. He is ready to go to his forever home. Stan is described by his foster mom as "the perfect package." He is sweet and loving, yet playful. He will sit in your lap and roll over for belly rubs. He LOVES to go for walks ... do you need a companion to help you take a few brisk walks each day? Stan is your guy! He sleeps through the night and his preference is to sleep in bed with you. He is great with young people, older people and other dogs his size. He does have a little bit of a Napoleon complex with bigger dogs. We think he is most likely a yorkie - chihuahua mix. Looking for an awesome dog? Stan is your guy! Who can resist that face?
Stan is new in rescue. He weighs about 8 pounds and is 5 years old. He will be seeing the vet this week to schedule his neuter. Once recovered, he will be ready for adoption. He is a sweet little boy who will need a moderately active home. We are not sure how he reacts to children but he seems to tolerate small dogs just fine. We will post more details as we get to know him more.
