Tobias a.k.a. Doodle Bug, is a friendly 5-pound Shih Tzu mix with good manners and an amusing snort.
He is fully vetted, microchipped, and almost ready for adoption. Foster mom would like to get to know his a little bit before placing him in an adoptive home.
Tobias would love a fenced yard and someone to sit with on the porch like old men do! He isn't much of an exercise walker but he will go out on leash to potty! Curious and sweet-natured, Tobias is a gem not to be missed.
Since entering rescue, Tobias has experienced some Gi issues. It could be stress but medical history shows it has been off and on throughout his life. He was seen by the vet on Tuesday, September 1st and has been prescribed Hill’s Biome and i/d dog food to help him recover and return to normal GI function. He will remain on prescription dog food for life to reduce the stress on his body and maintain normal function. Fortunately, he is small and doesn’t eat much. The cost should be minimal.
