Meet Willow! She is a 4 year old 24 pound Miniature Schnauzer. Willow comes to us from PA. She was living in a puppy mill and never conceived, so she was surrendered to us. Despite her previous life, Willow is a very sweet little lady. Naturally, she is shy at first but warms up quickly. She is learning how to "dog" from the resident dogs in her foster home.
Willow is about 8 pounds overweight and will need regular exercise and proper diet to return to a healthy weight. She is already learning to walk on leash and hopefully she will take off the weight once a regular exercise routine can be established. She may need a prescription diet to achieve her optimum weight then return to regular kibble for maintenance.
Willow will need regular bathing and brushing at home as well as a professional grooming about every 4-6 weeks to maintain her coat.
Willow will be spayed September 9th and once healed she will be ready for adoption.
